Summary:

Ebenezer Christian School is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Middle School Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to providing our students with a rigorous and nurturing educational experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all subject areas in the middle school, including English, math, science, and social studies, in a 6-8 blended classroom.

Responsibilities:

Create engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and standards
Deliver instruction in a clear and concise manner that promotes student understanding
Assess and grade student learning, including the development and administration of tests and quizzes
Provide feedback to students on their progress and help them develop strategies for improvement
Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment
Collaborate with other staff members to create a loving Christian environment where each student can reach his or her full potential
Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
Has a Valid MI Teacher’s license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to Christian education
