Resource Center Coordinator

About the Role

Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) of Cuyahoga County is seeking a passionate, organized, and mission-driven Resource Center Coordinator to serve as a vital part of our team. This role is at the heart of connecting neighbors in need with churches, volunteers, and community resources—bringing transformation through relationship. The Resource Center Coordinator oversees daily operations of the Resource Center, ensuring that every neighbor is served with dignity, compassion, and excellence.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Schedule & Location

24–30 hours per week (hourly)
In-office: Monday–Thursday
Remote flexibility available under approved circumstances

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Leadership

Train and support new and current Resource Center volunteers
Encourage and implement the philosophy of When Helping Hurts and Effective

Charity
Provide ongoing coaching, support, and accountability
Neighbor Case Oversight

Oversee all cases from intake through reporting – Reviewing daily for progress and to discern next steps through collaboration with Transformational Ministries

Phone & Intake Management

Receive all Resource Center calls and messages and direct to trained volunteers for intake
Ensure all neighbors receive timely follow-up and Equip volunteers with accurate referrals to community resources

Church Partnerships

Participate in mobilizing churches to serve through sharing our mission and model of how Love INC works, communication regarding neighbor needs, and clarifying and verifying information with referring churches.

Agency Relationships

Build and nurture relationships with local community agencies
Conduct informational meetings (in-house or on-site)
Attend outreach events and agency meetings representing Love INC
Role Development & Training

Complete ongoing training through Love INC National (CC On Demand)
Attend national conference (every other year)
Participate in True Charity and other professional development training courses

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office & Microsoft 365 (CoPilot experience a plus)
Strong writing and communication skills
Highly reliable, organized, and dependable
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Database experience preferred (not required)
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Spiritual Requirement

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Active involvement in a local church
A heart aligned with the mission of Love INC
