POSITION SUMMARY
The Logic / Rhetoric Headmaster is responsible for the spiritual, cultural, academic, and administrative leadership of students in 6th-12th grade. We seek an individual who leads with humility, virtue, and wisdom. They must be a decisive self-starter who also desires to work collaboratively with our excellent faculty and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
• Provide leadership in developing our new logic school (6th-8th grade) and strengthening our rhetoric school (9th-12th). Currently 7th-12th grade is together as an “upper school.” Next year we will have a distinct logic school (6th-8th) and rhetoric school (9th-12th).
• Work with the Head of School and Academic Dean to strengthen the academic program.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, evaluate the logic and rhetoric faculty. This includes observing classrooms and providing meaningful feedback.
• Lead faculty meetings and assist with professional development.
• Partner with the parents of logic and rhetoric students.
• Contribute to the WCA leadership team.
• Assist with hiring
• Foster a Christ-centered culture

QUALIFICATIONS
• A follower of Jesus Christ and personal agreement with our Statement of Faith and lifestyle agreement
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Biblical and theological acuity
• History of service and commitment to a local church
• Ability to build relationships
• Ability to multitask without distancing from relationship
• Leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor, encourage, and develop faculty
• A demonstrated commitment to growing in knowledge
• A strong send of humor
