Humanities and Composition Teacher, GRADES 7-9
Full-time, begins August 2025
We seek a dynamic educator to join our faculty as we come alongside parents to raise their children to be all that God desires. This humanities and composition teacher will join a strong Upper School faculty and will be responsible to serve as a godly role model. They will instruct our teens according to a biblical worldview using classical methodology for which we provide on-going training. Our desire is for a teacher who loves students of this age, has a relevant background, and may be a generalist enough to teach in another subject. Every Upper Schoolteacher has an additional role leading a student “compass
group,” which is an additional mentoring opportunity to pour into the lives of specific students. This teacher will report to the Upper School principal.
Our teachers enjoy adolescents while inspiring them to high standards and the pursuit of genuine Christian faith.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Spiritually mature Christian with a joyous love for the age group
• Passionate for Christian education
• Passionate for discipling teenagers
• Bachelor’s degree in English/ History/Humanities/Theology or related field
• Teaching experience
• Ability to lead with a Biblical Worldview
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Excellent communication/people skills
• Basic proficiency with technologies
