Christ Above All

Bryan College exists to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world. The Bryan College Ward School of Nursing (CWSON) has embarked on an exciting adventure to implement a new BSN degree program, and we are seeking dynamic, Christ-loving faculty to join us on this journey.  The coursework is taught onsite, with labs, simulation and testing offered in our state of the art Nursing Center on the Bryan Campus.  Clinical experiences are scheduled in partnership with local and regional healthcare providers. The first nursing students will graduate in May, 2026

We believe that nurses interact with people at their most basic levels during their times of greatest need, and so we consider nursing to be a calling, and those preparing for a calling must demonstrate both great competence and great compassion.  At Bryan College BSN students will have opportunities to learn the skills and principles necessary to provide exceptional nursing care for people in need; however, they will also learn how to engage and interact with a culture that consistently challenges Jesus Christ’s principles regarding birth, life and death. You will have an opportunity to help create a learning culture that not only supports innovation but expects it.  You will be part of a vibrant team that is being assembled to embrace an out-of-the-box approach to the healthcare shortage in Tennessee and surrounding areas.

Bryan College is located on a 128-acre hilltop in Dayton, Tennessee, within the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, 35 minutes north of Chattanooga and 100 miles from Nashville or Gatlinburg.

This is a 9-month faculty position, and in order to apply you will need to:

  • Have a vibrant, growing faith in Jesus Christ
  • Have an earned graduate degree in nursing – preferably with a specialty in nursing
  • Have two years of teaching experience in nursing education
  • Have at least three years of direct client care experience as an RN, preferably in OB/Peds or Mental Health
  • Be able to practice as an RN or APRN in Tennessee
