CEFC is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor/Director for our Carlisle Campus to lead and grow our ministry to high school students. Are you passionate about discipling students to help them grow in their relationship with Christ as they navigate the ever-more-difficult environment of high school? Do you have a burden to see lost high school students find peace and purpose in Christ? Then this may be the position for you!
CEFC is a growing multi-site church in South Central Pennsylvania with locations in Carlisle, Mount Holly Springs, and Mechanicsburg. The area is rich in history and is known for its small-town character. With mountains, trout-filled streams, and the Appalachian Trail nearby, it is a great place to call home and to raise a family.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead CEFC Carlisle’s ministry to high school students
•Work closely with the Middle School Pastor/Director to build a cohesive, dynamic ministry to students
•Recruit, train and develop volunteer leaders
•Plan and execute effective ministry events to disciple and reach students, including a Sunday morning program, a Sunday evening program, and life groups.
•Provide input to the development of the annual budget and oversee budget execution for student ministry at the Carlisle Campus
•Perform other pastoral and administrative duties as assigned
WHAT A STRONG CANDIDATE WOULD LOOK LIKE:
•Engaged in a growing, active relationship with Christ
•A bachelor’s degree in Youth ministry or equivalent experience preferred
•2-5 years of experience in youth ministry or a closely related field preferred
•A track record of successful leadership or evidence of gifting in leadership
•A self-starter who can act within the bounds of vision and guidance
•An effective communicator (oral and written) who is skilled in the use of social media
