ICSV is currently seeking a full-time Development Manager to join our team 1 August 2025 or earlier.
In this role, the development manager is responsible for leading the school’s development program as adopted by the School Board and will be reporting directly to the School Director. (S)he is also responsible for developing and maintaining active and productive relationships with staff members, donors, alumni, and the school’s local community as appropriate and promoting the school’s mission to both internal constituencies and the community at large. (S)he will use expert communication skills and a sense of initiative to identify fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, design and implement fundraising campaigns throughout the calendar year, and reach ICSV’s financial goals through major gifts.
The ICSV development manager must be motivated, self-driven, creative, professional, and organized. We are looking for someone who believes in the mission of our school and has exceptional drive for furthering our fundraising efforts, as well as strategizing and reaching our fundraising goals.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, marketing, business, public relations, or related field
● Preferably, at least three to five years of experience in organizing fundraising (donation programs, capital campaigns, etc.) in a not-for-profit development role
● Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
● Have an understanding of international Christian education
● Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
● German language skills a plus

● Committed to support ICSV’s Christian mission and faith-based education
● Willing to honor and uphold all standards outlined in the Faculty Handbook
● Able to sign the ICSV Statement of Faith

HIRING FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2025/2026 – (part-time or full-time)
ICSV is currently seeking a qualified School Counselor for Elementary and Middle School to join our team for the 2025/2026 school year.
The Elementary and Middle School Counselor supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development. They provide guidance through regularly scheduled whole-class instruction, small group counseling, and one-on-one counseling with students. The E/MS Counselor also collaborates with and serves as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents. The E/MS Counselor helps create a positive learning environment and school culture by assisting students with conflict resolution and any other challenges students may face. In addition, the E/MS Counselor will develop initiatives that ensure a smooth transition for students from Elementary to Middle School and from Middle School to High School.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field required; Master’s Degree in Counseling preferred
· Have school counseling certification or be working toward certification
· Experience as an international school counselor ideal
· Fluency in English; knowledge of German language preferred
· Show commitment to the authority of the Scriptures in his/her philosophy of counseling
· Should have relationship gifts and a personality which enables and enhances positive interaction with elementary school and middle school age students and their parents
· Classroom teaching experience at the elementary and/or middle school level preferred
· Prefer to have counseling experience in a cross-cultural environment
· Agrees to abide by decisions of the Board and administration of ICSV
· Have a commitment of at least 2 years to ICSV

· Knowledge of current trends in counseling and the social/emotional development of children ages 5-15
· Computer skills, ability to work with a wide range of programs
· Ability to work effectively with school staff, parents, and students
· Knowledge of the American Education System, preferred
· Basic knowledge of other educational systems, such as the Austrian public schools, helpful
· Fluency in written and spoken English is required
