Overview
We are seeking a Spirit-led Worship Leader to join our team for Sunday services and potentially also lead Living Free and midweek services as needed. This candidate would join our program meeting on Tuesdays to help prepare for the weekend. They would coordinate with the worship team, help schedule volunteers, and plan which songs to sing. This would be an independent contractor position with a negotiable rate based on experience.

Responsibilities
– Lead worship services with musical excellence and spiritual depth
– Select appropriate music for services in collaboration with the ministry team
– Rehearse and direct musicians and vocalists
– Help mentor and develop musicians and vocalists

Qualifications
– Demonstrate experience in leading worship services by providing footage of leading worship in a church environment to exemplify their competency.
– Be able to lead worship from a prominent instrument such as piano or guitar.

– Familiar with Planning Center and Song Select a plus

-Have basic music theory and be proficient in playing musical instruments
– Strong communication skills to connect with the congregation
– Leadership abilities to someday guide a worship team effectively and
mentor and develop team members
